"Dead in the Family" - Book 10 of the "Sookie Stackhouse" series by Charlaine Harris was originally supposed to be published at the end of May 2010. The new release date is June 10th 2010. Does anyone know why it has been put back.

I was initially hesitant to purchase any books from Charlaine Harris because, I have become heavily invested in the HBO show "True Blood" which is based on her books, and feared comparing the book to the show would would cause me to lose interest... I didn't want to put down the book once I begin reading, and that's saying a lot for me considering I have a tendency to not finish many of the books I begin. Charlaine Has a gift for descriptive and vivid detailing which translates easily onto the pages of Club Dead. Harris has written Sookie as a frequenly annoying and grating narrator. However, I found the book to be not only a quick read, but rather entertaining and easy to follow. This is the third book in the Southern Vampire Mysteries series and to be honest, I sometimes wonder why I waste my brain-power....
